Our story
Over the past 30 years data architects, Mike Odling-Smee and Joe Waller have led some of the biggest NHS and Government IT projects.
The duo founded system architecture consultancy Aire Logic, and then Aire Innovate, when they built an open low-code platform to revolutionise digital transformation projects, providing an agile solution to fix the biggest pain points and gaps experienced by digital innovation teams today, without the time and costs demanded by off-the-shelf software.
We are on a mission to revolutionise digital transformation for health and care organisations. Our powerful platform makes digital teams masters of their own destiny, equipped with easy-to-use foundation tools for building, connecting and changing IT systems, precisely to their needs. Sharing their solutions with peers around the world will accelerate best practice globally.

Data integration experts
We are passionate about data. The team helped create many of the standards used in the NHS and Social Care today, such as HL7v2 and HL7 FHIR, and delivered integration programmes including the Spine / PDS, GP Connect, Care Connect, MESH, the Interoperability Toolkit (ITK), Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE), External Interface Specification (EIS), and Messaging 2.0. We are now working on Spine futures, and Clinicals.
